CNA Program Assistant Clinical Instructor (LPN) - Shape the Future of Nursing Care

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality clinical instruction: Collaborate with the lead instructor to develop and execute engaging lesson plans, emphasizing practical skills and procedures relevant to the CNA curriculum.
• Provide personalized support: Be a dedicated mentor to students, offering individualized guidance, feedback, and encouragement throughout their clinical rotations.
• Supervise and assess student performance: Ensure student safety and adherence to ethical guidelines in the nursing home setting, offering constructive feedback and evaluations to optimize learning.
• Maintain accurate documentation: Track student progress, attendance, and clinical performance through detailed records.
• Foster a positive learning environment: Create a supportive and inclusive atmosphere for students, promoting teamwork and open communication.
• Stay ahead of the curve: Keep up-to-date on current trends and best practices in CNA education and nursing care.

Qualifications:

• Current LPN license in good standing In NYS.
• Minimum of two years of experience working as an LPN in a nursing home setting.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Proven ability to effectively manage time and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of CNA curriculum.
• Demonstrated passion for teaching and commitment to student success.
• Experience working with diverse populations is a plus.
