CNA Program Assistant Clinical Instructor (LPN) - Shape the Future of Nursing Care
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality clinical instruction: Collaborate with the lead instructor to develop and execute engaging lesson plans, emphasizing practical skills and procedures relevant to the CNA curriculum.
- Provide personalized support: Be a dedicated mentor to students, offering individualized guidance, feedback, and encouragement throughout their clinical rotations.
- Supervise and assess student performance: Ensure student safety and adherence to ethical guidelines in the nursing home setting, offering constructive feedback and evaluations to optimize learning.
- Maintain accurate documentation: Track student progress, attendance, and clinical performance through detailed records.
- Foster a positive learning environment: Create a supportive and inclusive atmosphere for students, promoting teamwork and open communication.
- Stay ahead of the curve: Keep up-to-date on current trends and best practices in CNA education and nursing care.
Qualifications:
- Current LPN license in good standing In NYS.
- Minimum of two years of experience working as an LPN in a nursing home setting.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to effectively manage time and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of CNA curriculum.
- Demonstrated passion for teaching and commitment to student success.
- Experience working with diverse populations is a plus.
