Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care to residents on ventilators, adhering to established protocols and physician orders.
- Perform comprehensive assessments, monitor vital signs, and identify potential complications early.
- Administer medication, manage tracheostomies, and provide meticulous respiratory and airway care.
- Collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and respiratory therapists.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Educate and reassure residents and their families.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment.
Qualifications
- Current LPN license in good standing.
- Minimum of 2 years of direct ventilator experience in a healthcare setting.
- Strong clinical skills, including assessment, monitoring, and airway management.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
