Queens NY Hospital Medical Center: Join Our Critical Care Team in ICU & CCU!
Positions Available:
- 2 ICU RNs:
- Manage critically ill patients with complex medical conditions, monitoring vital signs and administering complex treatments.
- Collaborate closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Provide emotional support to patients and families during challenging times.
- 2 CCU RNs:
- Provide specialized care to patients with cardiac emergencies and conditions, utilizing advanced monitoring equipment and therapies.
- Collaborate with cardiologists and other specialists to manage patients' heart health and prevent complications.
- Offer emotional support and guidance to patients and families navigating heart disease.
Qualifications:
- Foreign RNs welcome! We will provide comprehensive training and support to help you obtain your NYS RN license.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
- Minimum 2 years of critical care nursing experience preferred.
- Strong clinical skills and a deep understanding of critical care principles and procedures.
- Excellent critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working within a fast-paced team environment.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care, with the ability to manage stress and maintain composure in critical situations.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and manage multiple patients simultaneously.
